Star Wars Limited Edition
About This Machine
The Star Wars Limited Edition pinball machine, designed by Steve Ritchie and released by Stern Pinball in August 2017, is a highly sought-after collector's item for fans of the iconic franchise. Limited to a confirmed production run of 800 units, each game came with a serialized number plate, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Gary Stern, an autographed collectible signed by Ritchie, and two extra translites from the Pro and Premium models.
Key gameplay features include a range of innovative mechanics, such as the "jumpramp" that loads balls into the Death Star for multiball action, with one of the machine's three slingshots used to interact with the two pop bumpers. With up to six balls in simultaneous play and nine multiball modes plus a Wizard Mode, players can experience the intense excitement of battling the Empire like never before. The machine's design features include a miniature LCD screen on the playfield, chrome metal ramps, and wire habitrails, all set against striking translite artwork depicting the Rebellion's forces.
Notably, this machine boasts an impressive array of lighting effects, courtesy of RGB LEDs throughout the cabinet and backbox, as well as specialized reflector flash lamps illuminating the playfield, and green and RGB LEDs on the Exploding Death Star. Gloss black powder-coated hinges, lockdown bar, and laser-cut side armor complete its distinct look. As a true standout in modern pinball design, the Star Wars Limited Edition machine is sure to delight enthusiasts of both the franchise and the hobby itself.
