About This Machine

Torero is an electro-mechanical pinball machine produced by Cipriano Martinez Cembrano (trade name CMC) of Zaragoza, Spain, themed around bullfighting. No confirmed production year survives, but the machine appeared in the Spanish film "Un vaso de whisky" ("A Glass of Whiskey"), released September 3, 1959 and filmed in Barcelona, placing it no later than the late 1950s.

Little documentation exists about Torero's specific playfield features, designer, or artist. What is known points to a single-player EM machine whose bullfighting theme reflects Spanish popular culture of the era.

Despite the scarcity of detail, Torero's on-screen appearance in a period film provides a rare documented sighting for a machine that otherwise remains largely undocumented, making it a notable curiosity for historians of Spanish pinball manufacturing.
