Sea Devil

The Sea Devil is a rare and enigmatic solid-state electronic pinball machine from Elbos Electronics of Italy. Unfortunately, due to its unknown production year and lack of information on its designer, the machine's significance and history remain somewhat of a mystery. However, its unique blend of fantasy and nautical themes sets it apart as an intriguing addition to any pinball collection.

Gameplay-wise, the Sea Devil features a range of engaging elements, including two flippers, three pop bumpers, two slingshots, four standup targets, and a 4-bank drop target. A spinning target adds an extra layer of challenge, while the kick-out hole and star rollover ensure that players must stay focused throughout their game.

The backglass artwork is particularly noteworthy, with a significant unpainted area allowing the player to see artwork attached directly to the front of the backbox insert. This design choice adds an air of experimentation to the machine's aesthetic, setting it apart from more conventional pinball designs. Interestingly, the bottom center of the glass carries hand-credited artwork reading "MFD. BY: MIKE & STEVE." As a scarce example of Elbos Electronics' pinball output, the Sea Devil is sure to captivate enthusiasts with its unique blend of style and gameplay.
