Aerosmith (Limited Edition)
About This Machine
The Aerosmith Limited Edition pinball machine, designed by John Borg and released in 2017 by Stern Pinball, is a testament to the enduring legacy of one of rock music's most iconic bands. As a licensed theme pinball, Aerosmith brings the energy of the band to the playfield, immersing players in Aerosmith's music and imagery.
Aerosmith boasts an impressive array of features that set it apart from other pinballs. The machine's solid-state electronics enable smooth gameplay, while its three flippers, pop bumpers, slingshots, and stand-up targets provide a thrilling challenge for players to navigate the playfield. One standout feature is the vertical up-kicker to the elevated mini-playfield, which adds an extra layer of excitement to the game. The machine's multiball capabilities, featuring 3-6 balls, are triggered by the upper playfield toy box release, creating a truly immersive experience.
The Aerosmith Limited Edition pinball also stands out for its attention to detail in design and art. The purple powder-coated legs, side armor, hinges, and front lockdown molding add a premium touch, while the mirrored backglass replaces the translite used on the Pro and Premium models for an eye-catching effect. Each of the nine lower playfield inserts represents a musical track from Aerosmith's catalog, playing in connection to specific features on the playfield. This LE version was limited to 500 units, came with a serialized number plate, a mini-playfield personally signed by designer John Borg, and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Gary Stern.
