Game of Thrones (Pro)
About This Machine
Game of Thrones (Pro) is a highly sought-after pinball machine, released by Stern Pinball in 2015 as a licensed adaptation of HBO's epic fantasy drama. The game's theme and artwork were crafted under the guidance of designer Steve Ritchie, with backglass art by Greg Freres and Steven Martin and sculpting by Dave Link, bringing the world of Westeros to the playfield.
Gameplay-wise, Game of Thrones (Pro) offers an engaging medieval-themed experience built around two flippers, three pop bumpers, two slingshots, eight standup targets, electric gates, a 3-bank drop target, and a spinning target. Its standout feature is the "dragon kicker," paired with a sword-shaped ball release for multiball, plus a sliding bash target and an animated interactive dragon toy. A 3-channel Bass + Stereo Hi-Fi sound system with speech rounds out the presentation.
The machine's design also stands out visually, using a translite in place of a traditional backglass, along with decal cabinet artwork, black wrinkle powder-coated legs and armor, and LED lighting throughout the pop bumpers and playfield inserts. With its licensed theme, engaging gameplay, and distinctive features, Game of Thrones (Pro) remains a popular addition to collections of Stern's modern era output.
