About This Machine

Commodore is an unproduced Williams Manufacturing Company design, known today only from a playfield drawing (Model 171) dated May 24, 1956 and signed by designer Harry Williams. Classified as a bingo-style machine, its playfield layout -- featuring 25 trap holes -- closely mirrors that of Williams' 1957 'Yukon,' though the two games assign playing cards to the holes differently.

The design also called for four passive bumpers, two on each side of the playfield, all marked "Advance Bonus Score When Lit."

Since Commodore never advanced beyond the drawing stage, no physical machine was ever built, and much about its intended art and full rule set remains unknown.
