The Stern Pinball Limited Edition KISS machine is a highly sought-after addition to any serious pinball collection. Released in 2015, this title marked a milestone for Stern Pinball, honoring the company's partnership with one of rock music's most iconic bands. It follows in the tradition of Bally's 1979 'KISS' pinball, whose pop bumper cap artwork it echoes, and features custom speech from Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley for added authenticity.

Gameplay-wise, the KISS machine offers a thrilling experience with its robust feature set. Players can engage with four pop bumpers, four slingshots, ten standup targets, a 4-bank drop target, a single drop target, and a spinning target that challenge precision and timing. A magnet behind the playfield's back panel slowly transports a captured ball from the right-side ramp to a left-side elevated stage, adding a distinctive dynamic element to play.

The KISS Limited Edition is also notable for its eye-catching design: powder-coated red side rails, lockdown bar, backbox hinge, and legs create a striking visual contrast, while a mirrored backglass (rather than the translite used on other versions) and decal cabinet art add to its premium aesthetic.
