Safari De Luxe

Safari De Luxe is not actually a pinball machine — it's a Gun Game manufactured by Williams Manufacturing Company, with a manufacture date of December 16, 1954, shipped to distributors the first week of January 1955. It appears in this database for clarification purposes because it has sometimes been mistakenly listed as a pin game.

Model 121 'Safari De Luxe' is essentially the same game as Williams' Model 122 'Safari' from the same year, but adds Triple Match and Replay features. Both models share a hunting/safari theme and shipped together, which likely contributed to the confusion between the two over the years.

Because it is a gun game rather than a pinball, detailed information about its play mechanics falls outside the scope of typical pinball documentation. Its main historical interest lies in its close relationship to Williams' 'Safari' and the clarification it provides for collectors trying to distinguish between the two similarly named machines.
