Bumper

Bumper, a rare and enigmatic electro-mechanical pinball machine from Bill Port's Madrid workshop, is a hidden gem for collectors and historians. While its exact production date remains unknown, this Outer Space / Science Fiction themed machine features a captive ball that gives players the challenge of navigating a trapped ball back into play.

The game's design and artwork are equally fascinating, with a distinctive wedge-shaped headbox and standup targets that evoke a sense of otherworldly wonder fitting its space-fantasy theme. The inclusion of slingshots and mushroom bumpers adds to the machine's dynamic gameplay, while the three-or-five-ball play option provides flexibility for players seeking different levels of challenge.

While limited information is available about Bumper's production and origins, it remains a rare example of Bill Port's work from Madrid, Spain, offering enthusiasts a glimpse into the creative experimentation of the era's EM pinball scene.
