About This Machine

Ultimate Golf Ball Frenzy is a 2007 solid-state electronic conversion built on the hardware of Williams' 1997 'No Good Gofers'. The conversion was created by High End Pins of Indian Trail, North Carolina, under contract by EDS Technology of Plano, Texas, and the finished game was used in a benefit auction at the 2007 EDS Byron Nelson Championship golf tournament in Dallas, Texas. It is a companion piece to the similarly themed 2006 conversion 'Mega Golf Ball Frenzy'.

One of the standout features of this game is its spinning disc, which doubles as a prize wheel. The floating slam ramp to the upper playfield adds an unusual level of verticality and unpredictability to gameplay for its four players.

Ultimate Golf Ball Frenzy's theme blends golf, motorcycles, and transportation elements, reflecting both its charity tournament origins and its base game's sports comedy roots. As a one-off promotional conversion rather than a mass-produced title, it stands as a notable custom piece of pinball history tied to a specific real-world charity event.
