About This Machine

The Mustang (Pro) pinball machine, designed by John Trudeau and released in 2014 by Stern Pinball, Incorporated, is a standout title that embodies the spirit of speed and freedom associated with America's beloved muscle cars. As part of the 1999-present era of Stern Pinball, this solid-state electronic game was one of the many licensed themes to hit the market during its heyday. What makes Mustang (Pro) particularly notable in pinball history is its commitment to innovative design and playability.

Key gameplay features of Mustang (Pro) include a range of challenging targets and mechanisms that reward players for their skills. The machine boasts two flippers, four pop bumpers, two slingshots, seven standup targets, one 5-bank drop target, a spinning target, a captive ball, and even a whirlpool - all working in tandem to create an immersive experience that's as much about finesse as it is about brute force. With six pinballs installed, Mustang (Pro) promises hours of entertainment for enthusiasts.

In terms of design, art, and theme, the Mustang (Pro) excels with its sleek, modern aesthetic inspired by classic American muscle cars. The use of LED lighting throughout adds a dynamic touch to the gameplay experience, while the translite artwork provides an eye-catching focal point for the machine's cabinet. Interestingly, it's worth noting that Stern Pinball provided the wiring for the shaker motor but didn't include the motor itself, leaving customers to source this component from after-market providers - a quirk that highlights the evolving nature of pinball manufacturing and player customization.
