About This Machine

Orgie is an electro-mechanical pinball machine released under the ADP Automaten GmbH name in Germany. It is not an original design: it is a conversion of Williams' 1973 Jubilee, with the backglass name changed from "Jubilee" to "Orgie" (the shape of the original lettering reportedly can still be seen beneath it). The ADP logo was added to the backglass, but the rest of the machine — including the "Williams" logo on the playfield apron — is unchanged from the original Jubilee. It's unclear whether ADP manufactured the whole game or simply supplied a rebranded backglass to operators.

Gameplay follows Jubilee's design: two flippers, two pop bumpers, two ball kickers, a rollunder lane, and five captive balls. Lighting all five captive balls on the lit side of the center loop awards a Special. The game can be set for 3-ball or 5-ball play, with sound provided by three chimes and a knocker.

Little is known about ADP Automaten GmbH itself beyond a game flyer describing it as a manufacturer and importer of coin-operated devices; the company is believed to have been one of several owned by German entrepreneur Paul Gauselmann. As a curious rebrand of a well-known Williams title, Orgie is an interesting footnote in the history of European pinball distribution rather than an original machine in its own right.
