About This Machine

The Royal-Bilbill is a mysterious and intriguing addition to the world of pinball history. As one of the few remaining pure mechanical pinball machines from an unknown manufacturer, it offers a glimpse into the early days of the industry when companies were still experimenting with designs and features. The lack of information about its manufacturer and designer only adds to its enigma, making it a fascinating piece for collectors and historians.

Despite its obscure origins, the Royal-Bilbill boasts several unique gameplay features that set it apart from other pinball machines. The absence of a ball lift knob under the plunger knob is notable, as this was a common design element in many early games. Instead, players must rely on the large round red wheel on the right side of the game to guide the ball into play. This clever use of space and innovative design choice adds an extra layer of challenge and excitement to gameplay.

The Royal-Bilbill's design and art are equally intriguing, with a sleek black cabinet and legs that evoke a sense of classic elegance. The push knob on the front of the cabinet is a simple yet effective way to reset the playfield at the start of each game, while the drop coin slot on top of the game adds a touch of industrial charm. As for its theme, it remains a mystery, but the lack of a specific subject matter only underscores the machine's unique and timeless appeal. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting your pinball journey, the Royal-Bilbill is an unforgettable addition to any collection.
