About This Machine

The Avengers Limited Edition pinball machine, designed by George Gomez and released by Stern Pinball in 2012, is a highly sought-after collector's item among pinball enthusiasts. Produced in a limited run of just 250 confirmed units as part of Stern's Marvel Comics-licensed lineup tied to the Avengers film, the LE stands apart from the standard Avengers (Pro) release through its distinctive powder-coated blue trim (side rails, lockdown bar, backbox hinge, and legs) and a mirrored backglass in place of a translite, earning it the nickname 'Avengers Blue' among collectors.

Gameplay-wise, The Avengers LE features an array of upgrades over the base Pro edition. Players can experience multiball action, while a shaker motor adds an extra level of excitement. The upper playfield's bridge mechanism raises and lowers to create dynamic pathways for the ball. Additionally, three pop bumpers, two slingshots, a doubled 4-bank drop target, and a spinning target create a fast-paced, engaging gameplay experience.

The Avengers LE is also notable for its artwork and design, capturing the Marvel Comics universe with the Hulk molded upper-body figurine as a signature toy. With only 250 units produced, The Avengers LE is prized among collectors for its rarity, distinctive blue color scheme, and gameplay upgrades over the standard edition.
