About This Machine

Alien Warrior is a four-player solid-state electronic pinball machine manufactured by LTD do Brasil Diversões Eletrônicas Ltda of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, between 1977 and 1984. Its outer-space, alien-invasion theme is brought to life through a playfield layout that closely mirrors Gottlieb's 1971 machine "Orbit," with one key difference: Alien Warrior replaces Gottlieb's vari-target with a 4-in-line bank of drop targets.

The game features two flippers, three pop bumpers, four standup targets, the aforementioned 4-in-line drop target bank, a spinning target, an upper-right return ball rollunder, and a right outlane ball return gate — a feature set that closely tracks its Gottlieb inspiration while adding its own touches.

Its exact release year within LTD do Brasil's 1977–1984 window is unknown, and details about its designer and artwork remain undocumented. As a Brazilian-made pinball clearly built on an American design template, Alien Warrior is a useful example of how manufacturers outside the U.S. and Europe adapted established playfield layouts for their own markets.
