Worlds Fair

Worlds Fair was a pinball machine designed by Data East Pinball, Incorporated, bearing the model number 500-5513-01 — but it never actually reached production. Like a handful of other prototypes developed during Data East's run from 1986 to 1994, Worlds Fair exists today only as a listing in the company's internal model records, and it's unknown whether any physical prototypes survived.

Because the game was never manufactured, there is no documented information about its theme, artwork, ruleset, or designer. Everything about its intended gameplay and presentation remains unknown; the model number is essentially the only confirmed trace of the project.

For pinball historians, Worlds Fair is a reminder that not every game announced or planned by a manufacturer makes it to the factory floor. It stands as an unrealized entry in Data East's catalog, its details lost to history unless additional documentation or a surviving prototype eventually surfaces.
