Kuwait

Kuwait is an electro-mechanical pinball machine from Maquinas Recreativas Sociedad Anonima (Maresa) of Madrid, Spain, and an apparent copy of Gottlieb's 1972 machine 'Flying Carpet'. Its exact production year is not documented.

Gameplay features two flippers, three pop bumpers, and twelve standup targets, giving players numerous scoring opportunities across the playfield -- mechanical elements typical of early-1970s EM design.

As with many Maresa titles, no information survives about the machine's designer or specific release details, but its status as a Spanish adaptation of a Gottlieb design offers insight into how American pinball themes were replicated for the European market during this period.
