Spin Out

Spin Out is an electro-mechanical pinball machine from Maquinas Recreativas Sociedad Anonima (Maresa) of Madrid, Spain, and a copy of Gottlieb's 1975 machine of the same name. Its backglass and playfield artwork are identical to the Gottlieb original, aside from different colors and a Maresa logo and replay window added to the backglass.

Like its Gottlieb counterpart, Spin Out features five score reels and a wedge-head backbox, built around an auto racing theme. Its exact production year is not documented.

As one of several Spanish manufacturers who produced close copies of popular American Gottlieb designs during this era, Maresa's Spin Out offers collectors an interesting look at how U.S. pinball designs were replicated for the European market.
