About This Machine

Udo Lindenberg is a re-themed pinball machine completed on May 28, 2011 -- one of only two units converted by Litfin Spielautomaten (Hartmut Litfin) from Bally's 1979 electro-mechanical 'Harlem Globetrotters On Tour' into a solid-state machine celebrating the German rock musician and composer Udo Lindenberg.

The conversion retains a four-player, solid-state format with three flippers, three pop bumpers, two slingshots, three spinning targets, six standup targets, a bank of four in-line drop targets, two kick-out holes, and a right outlane detour gate -- largely the mechanical layout of the original Bally title, dressed with new Udo Lindenberg-themed artwork and electronics.

As a rare, small-batch re-theme rather than a factory-produced game, Udo Lindenberg is a unique curiosity blending 1970s American electro-mechanical hardware with German rock-music branding, of interest primarily to collectors of custom and re-themed machines.
