About This Machine
This unidentified vertical pinball machine is a Pure Mechanical (PM) single-player game of unknown manufacturer and date. No maker's marks were found on the cabinet, which measures a compact 23 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 10 1/2 inches deep. Distinctively, it operates on old British pre-decimal pennies, indicating it was built and used in the UK before the country converted to decimal currency in February 1971.
According to the current owner, a previous owner repainted the cabinet white at some point, and the machine has not been opened up for further inspection, so its internal mechanism and original playfield details remain undocumented.
Its small, vertical cabinet suggests it may have been intended for a different setting than a standard arcade cabinet, though without further examination this remains speculative. As an unidentified pre-decimalization British machine, it offers an intriguing puzzle for pinball historians trying to trace its manufacturer and origins.
