Solar Ride

Solar Ride, manufactured by Electromatic Brasil, is an electro-mechanical pinball machine that reproduces Gottlieb's 1979 'Solar Ride' for the Brazilian market, following the same pattern as other Electromatic Brasil titles that copied contemporary Gottlieb designs.

Gameplay features three flippers, three pop bumpers, one slingshot, three star rollovers, two kick-out holes, a 5-bank drop target, and an upper-right return ball roll-under, with a maximum displayed score of 199,990 points per player. The Outer Space - Space Fantasy theme matches Gottlieb's original release.

Little independent documentation exists about Electromatic Brasil's production numbers or business operations, making Solar Ride an interesting but under-researched example of Gottlieb designs adapted for the South American pinball market.
