Spider-Man™ (Black Suited)

Spider-Man (Black Suited) is a Limited Edition variant of Stern's 2007 Spider-Man, distinguished by its black-suited theme and a confirmed production run of just 500 units. Designed by Steve Ritchie, with concept work by Ritchie and Lyman F. Sheats Jr., it's part of Stern Pinball's long line of Marvel-licensed titles, running on the Stern S.A.M. board system.

Gameplay features a mix of multiball modes and shot-making challenges themed around Spider-Man's world, with dot-matrix animation by Mark Galvez and music/sound by David Thiel bringing the presentation together. The game's ruleset aims for a balance of accessibility for casual players and depth for enthusiasts.

Artwork is credited to Kevin O'Connor, Mark Galvez, Margaret Hudson, and Marc Schoenberg, giving the Black Suited edition a darker, grittier visual tone that distinguishes it from the standard red-suited release. As a limited-production variant, Spider-Man (Black Suited) is a sought-after piece for collectors interested in Stern's 2000s-era licensed catalog.
