About This Machine

The Keno pinball machine is a rare example of a Pure Mechanical (PM), single-player game from an unknown manufacturer. An NRA (National Recovery Administration) stamp affixed to the game dates it to between 1934 and 1935, placing it among the early wave of coin-operated pin games.

Its most notable feature is an extensive set of 37 trap holes, an unusually high number that would have given players a wide field of scoring targets to aim for during play.

Beyond its trap-hole count and NRA-stamp dating, little else is documented about Keno's designer, theme, or original manufacturer, leaving it a mostly anonymous but intriguing artifact of early mechanical pinball.
