Montana De Luxe Extreme
About This Machine
The Montana De Luxe Extreme is a solid-state electronic bingo machine from Splin S.A. of Liège, Belgium, part of the manufacturer's Montana family of coin-operated bingo games. Its production year is undocumented.
Gameplay features include 25 trap holes, six scoring cards, 220v operation, and an optional payout hopper. Notably, it includes a large video display in the backbox that spans the full middle third of the backbox, twice the width of the display used on the standard Montana De Luxe; otherwise the backglass (which does not display the word "Extreme") looks similar to that model at first glance.
The machine's theme, designer, and exact release date remain undocumented. The scale of its video display suggests it is a later, more technologically elaborate entry in the Montana series rather than an early example of solid-state design.
