Galaxy

Galaxy is a backglass design for a single-player electro-mechanical (EM) pinball machine with a Fantasy - Outer Space - Science Fiction theme, created by artist Lloyd Rognan. As far as is known, this artwork never became a production game, unless it was released under a different name that has not yet been matched to this design.

Rognan also produced advertising poster art, and his backglass work appeared on production games in the 1970s for Chicago Coin and Williams. Because Galaxy was never manufactured, no details exist about its intended gameplay, rules, or playfield layout.

Galaxy's science-fiction theme reflects a genre that would go on to become common in later pinball machines, but as an unproduced concept, it remains primarily of interest as a piece of pinball artwork history rather than a playable machine.
