Last Round

Last Round is a rare electro-mechanical (EM) pinball machine, reportedly made in Italy as a conversion kit for a Gottlieb game. Its exact manufacturer, designer, and date remain unidentified, but as one of relatively few EM machines built around a boxing theme, it stands out among the era's sports-themed offerings.

The gameplay features two flippers, three pop bumpers, two slingshots, and seven standup targets, suggesting a dynamic, challenging layout. The maximum displayed score is 999,900 points per player — curiously high enough that a second dummy zero had to be added beneath the existing ones on the backglass to display it.

The machine's boxing theme and conversion-kit origins make it an unusual entry in pinball history. With no further information available on its original manufacturer, Last Round remains an intriguing subject for collectors and historians researching Italian pinball conversions.
