Ballota-Acht

The Ballota-Acht, manufactured by Ballota GmbH of Germany in July 1933, is a table-top/counter game from the early days of European coin-operated amusements. As a rare surviving example from this German manufacturer, it offers a glimpse into small-format games of the era.

Little specific information survives about its gameplay features or theme. As a countertop game rather than a full-size pinball, it was likely designed for compact placement in shops or arcades, with simple mechanical play typical of games of the period.

The true value of the Ballota-Acht lies in its rarity as a documented piece from Ballota GmbH. With no additional information available about its designer or specific features, it remains an intriguing artifact for collectors and historians of early German coin-op games.
