Parade

Parade is not a pinball machine, but a decorative aluminum-framed glass created by the Advertising Posters Company of Chicago, Illinois. It was one of several such glasses the company produced as wall art for the pinball trade, and it never appeared on any actual pinball machine.

Its theme centers on happiness and music, fitting the upbeat, celebratory tone the company favored for its decorative promotional pieces made for pinball manufacturers and operators. A related flyer places this piece as part of a publicity and sales package mailed on February 6, 1978.

Parade survives today as a piece of pinball-industry ephemera rather than a playable game -- a decorative artifact of interest to collectors of vintage pinball promotional and wall art.
