UFO

The UFO machine is a rare and enigmatic specimen from Model Racing, a manufacturer based in Montemarciano, Ancona, Italy. Despite its Outer Space - Fantasy theme and Solid State Electronic (SS) classification, UFO is actually a video game disguised as a pinball machine rather than a true pinball. Its playfield layout (though not its overlay) is similar to that of Chicago Coin's 1975 'Super Flipper'.

Little further information is available about UFO's specific mechanics, rules, or year of release. As a video-game hybrid dressed in pinball-cabinet styling, it represents an unusual crossover experiment from an era when video games and pinball competed for the same arcade floor space.

Given the scarcity of documentation, UFO remains an obscure and little-understood title, of interest primarily to collectors and historians researching the boundary between pinball and video arcade games.
