Sofficini Dakar

The Sofficini Dakar is a rare and enigmatic gem from Mr. Game's Italian production line of the late 1980s. As one of the few known examples of a Solid State Electronic pinball machine designed in Italy during this period, it holds a significant place in the history of pinball manufacturing. The absence of a specific year of manufacture makes it even more intriguing, sparking curiosity among collectors and historians.

From a gameplay perspective, the Sofficini Dakar boasts an impressive array of features, including two flippers, two pop bumpers, and a roll-under spinner – all hallmarks of classic racing pinball design. The inclusion of an inset video subgame in the backbox adds an extra layer of depth to the machine's gameplay experience. Players will need to navigate the virtual track, timing their shots with precision to achieve high scores.

The Sofficini Dakar's artistic and thematic elements are equally noteworthy. While its designer remains unknown, it's clear that Mr. Game aimed to evoke the spirit of rally racing with a bold color scheme and stylized graphics. Little is known about this machine beyond its technical specifications, making it an exciting discovery for pinball enthusiasts seeking new knowledge and treasures from the 1980s.
