Euromat Deluxe
About This Machine
The Euromat Deluxe, manufactured by Aisch & Melchers KG of Bochum, West Germany, in 1964 (one reference gives July 1964), is part of the manufacturer's line of wall-mounted 'Wandflipper' pinball machines produced between 1960 and 1972. It follows the earlier 'Euromat' in the company's lineup.
German-language patent text stamped inside the cabinet identifies the machine as "Wandflipper 'Euromat'" and notes that patents, prototypes, and further protection claims were pending, with a handwritten production number partially visible. As with other machines in the Euromat family, it was likely built as a compact wall-mounted unit for locations with limited floor space.
Not much additional information is available about the Euromat Deluxe's specific gameplay layout, theme, or artwork beyond its basic production history, making it a fascinating subject for pinball historians who specialize in early West German EM machines. Its rarity and limited documentation add to its allure as part of a distinctive line of European wall-mounted pinball games.
