Aloha
About This Machine
Aloha is not a pinball machine — it is one of several decorative, aluminum-framed glasses created by the Advertising Posters Company of Chicago, Illinois, a firm that produced artwork for pinball manufacturers. These glasses were intended as wall art and never appeared on an actual pinball machine. A promotional flyer for this piece was mailed as part of a sales package dated February 6, 1978.
Its Hawaii theme evokes a tropical, escapist mood typical of mid-century decorative art, in keeping with the aesthetic style of the era's pinball backglass art.
Because it was never installed on a working machine, no gameplay, mechanical features, or design credits are documented for Aloha. It remains primarily a curiosity for collectors interested in the promotional and decorative side of the pinball industry rather than a playable game.
