Sinbad

Sinbad, manufactured by Electromatic Brasil, is an electro-mechanical (EM) pinball machine that uses the same design as Gottlieb's 1978 'Sinbad', delving into the realm of fantasy and myth. As a Brazilian-produced version of a Gottlieb title, Sinbad offers a glimpse into how established American pinball designs were adapted and reproduced by manufacturers in other markets.

Key gameplay features carry over from the original design. Four flippers provide a dynamic playing experience, while two pop bumpers and a solitary drop target create opportunities for high-scoring shots. The inclusion of a spinning target along with separate 4-bank, 3-bank, and 2-bank drop target banks adds further gameplay variety, giving players a diverse set of challenges to tackle.

Because it replicates Gottlieb's original 1978 layout, the fantasy theme and target arrangement should closely mirror that source machine, though documentation on Electromatic Brasil's own production specifics is limited. Machines like this Sinbad serve as a reminder of how popular pinball designs circulated and were reproduced outside their country of origin during the EM era.
