Pinball Champ '82

Pinball Champ, manufactured by Automave Servicios Sociedad Anónima (ASSA) of Madrid, is a rare and enigmatic addition to the world of pinball. Very little is known about this four-player, solid state electronic (SS) machine, including its exact release year, designer, and theme, leaving much to speculation.

As a solid state game, Pinball Champ was built using more advanced circuitry than its electro-mechanical predecessors, which generally offered faster gameplay, brighter lighting effects, and more complex sound than EM machines. Beyond its basic classification and player count, though, no specific gameplay features, artwork, or design details are documented for this title.

The scarcity of documentation surrounding Pinball Champ is itself notable, especially for an SS-era machine. This air of mystery has piqued the interest of some pinball enthusiasts, who continue to search for more information about this elusive Spanish machine.
