Psichedelico

Psichedelico is a rare and enigmatic electro-mechanical pinball machine that has captured the imagination of collectors and historians. It is a version of Gottlieb's 1970 'Psychedelic,' though its manufacturer is unknown, and it is not even certain whether a complete game was ever produced or only the backglass. It should not be confused with a similarly named 'Psichedelic' by another unknown manufacturer, whose backglass features similar but not identical artwork.

The gameplay experience on Psichedelico is largely undocumented, but as an Add-A-Ball derivative of Gottlieb's original, it likely followed similar mechanics. The theme is unmistakably tied to psychedelic culture of the era, with music, singing, and dancing imagery -- including a dancing couple -- adorning the backglass.

The scarcity of information surrounding Psichedelico is a testament to its rarity and obscurity. As a little-documented derivative of a known Gottlieb title, it remains an enigmatic curiosity for collectors and historians. Despite its unknowns, Psichedelico's psychedelic theme and mysterious production history make it a fascinating addition to any serious pinball enthusiast's collection.
