About This Machine
Recreativos Franco's 1977 electro-mechanical game, Full, stands as an example of the innovative spirit of Spanish pinball manufacturers. Its sports-themed gameplay, centered around bowling, provides a unique twist on traditional EM pinball, and it was also exported under the Interflip brand name.
One of the standout features of Full is its use of "pin targets," ten knock-down targets shaped like a standard rack of bowling pins (five green, five red). When hit, these targets fall flat to form part of the playfield surface. They score no points directly, but dropping all pins of one color lights the correspondingly colored kick-out hole for a Special award, and the pins reset for each new ball. The machine's dual inlanes feature an open-elbow design that allows the ball to pass from inlane to outlane and vice versa, adding an unusual risk element to gameplay.
Full shares its "pin target" concept with Interflip's 1977 'Dragon,' another game from the same maker's lineup. Little is documented about the game's designer, but this EM game remains an interesting piece of pinball history for enthusiasts interested in Spanish and European EM design of the late 1970s.
