About This Machine

The Laramie, manufactured by Maquinas Recreativas Sociedad Anonima (Maresa) of Madrid, Spain in 1976, is an electro-mechanical pinball machine with an American West theme. It is the two-player counterpart to Maresa's single-player 'Kansas,' and both are copies of Gottlieb's 1975 'Quick Draw.'

The gameplay features two flippers, three pop bumpers, two banks of 5-bank drop targets, four standup targets, two kick-out holes, and dual inlanes, all housed within a drop-down cabinet. Notably, the Laramie has no slingshots, which shapes a different rhythm of play than most contemporary EM machines that rely on them for ball control near the flippers.

Little is known about the machine's production run or intended market, but the Laramie represents one of Maresa's later American West-themed titles, following earlier releases like 'Big Brave' and 'Dakota,' and remains an intriguing specimen for collectors exploring Spanish pinball history.
