The Death Dealing Adventures of Maxx Badazz Champion Kickboxer
About This Machine
The Death Dealing Adventures of Maxx Badazz Champion Kickboxer isn't actually a pinball machine — it never got further than a backglass. Conceived by Wally Welch and Michael Gottlieb at Alvin G. and Company around 1993, it existed only as an idea and a joking name, with artist Dan Hughes producing a small handful of backglasses. No prototype cabinet or playfield of any kind was ever built.
As Alvin G. engineering staffer Lonnie Mihin later explained, "There was never a production game made. There wasn't even a prototype. Wally and Michael came up with the 'game idea' and what the concept of the game would be. The only thing that existed was a small handful of backglasses and the joke behind the game's name."
Today, Maxx Badazz survives purely as a curiosity among Alvin G. and Company collectors and historians — a glimpse of an unrealized kickboxing-themed concept rather than an actual playable pinball machine.
