Canasta 86

Canasta 86, released in 1986 by Industria (Electromecánica) de Recreativos S.A. (INDER) of Madrid, Spain, is a Solid State Electronic four-player machine with a basketball theme - one of several sports-themed titles the prolific Spanish manufacturer produced through the 1970s, '80s, and early '90s.

Gameplay is relatively streamlined: two flippers, three pop bumpers, two 3-bank drop targets, and a roll-under spinner make up the machine's core shot set, offering a fast, accessible playfield layout typical of INDER's output.

Details about the machine's designer and artwork are not well documented, but Canasta 86 remains a solid example of INDER's basketball-themed pinball output and offers a window into Spain's homegrown pinball manufacturing during the 1980s.
