About This Machine

Sun Valley was a 1954 design from D. Gottlieb & Company (model 97), credited to designer Wayne Neyens. Like many Gottlieb projects of the era, it was an electro-mechanical (EM) game, but according to IPDB records it was never produced for sale. Neyens himself told researchers in 2014 that he has no pictures or memories of the game.

Because it never reached production, essentially nothing is known about Sun Valley's rules, layout, or artwork. It survives today only as a line item in Gottlieb's design records rather than as a playable machine, making it more a historical footnote than a collectible piece.
