Hot Fire Birds

The Hot Fire Birds pinball machine, manufactured by NSM/LÖWEN of Bingen, Germany in December 1985, is a solid-state electronic machine notable for its wood-grain cabinet, a distinctive touch among mid-1980s German pinballs. Its outer-space fantasy theme places it within the wave of sci-fi-themed machines popular during the era.

Gameplay on Hot Fire Birds features two flippers, three pop bumpers, and a set of banked drop targets: a 5-bank, a 4-bank, and a 3-bank, providing players with ample scoring opportunities. A 2-ball multiball mode adds an extra layer of excitement, requiring quick reflexes and strategic thinking.

Little is documented about the designer or specific inspiration behind Hot Fire Birds' creation. Its rarity makes it a prized find for collectors and enthusiasts interested in the lesser-known corners of the NSM/LÖWEN catalog and 1980s German pinball manufacturing.
