Qualified

Qualified, manufactured by Western Products, Incorporated in October 1938, is an early electro-mechanical pinball machine with a horse racing theme. Western Products operated only briefly, from 1938 to 1941, making Qualified one of the company's early releases.

Gameplay on Qualified is single-coin, five-ball play, with a knock-off button that lets players (or operators) clear accumulated scores -- a feature that would become standard on later pinball machines but was still a relatively novel concept in the late 1930s.

Qualified's horse racing theme is reflected in its playfield artwork. Beyond these documented details, little further information about the machine's designer or specific artwork is available.
