About This Machine
Wheels II, released by Midway Manufacturing Company in May 1975, is not a pinball machine -- IPDB classifies it as 'Not A Pinball,' identifying it instead as a video driving game. It was designed for four players and carries Midway's model number 594.
Beyond its manufacturer, release date, and classification as an early video driving game, no further details about its gameplay, cabinet design, or features have been documented.
As one of Midway's video game releases from the mid-1970s -- a period when the company was active in both pinball and the emerging video arcade market -- Wheels II is a reminder that not every machine catalogued alongside pinball games is actually a pinball table.
