Spooky

Spooky, manufactured by Zaccaria in April 1987, was one of the final pinball machines produced by the Italian manufacturer before it exited the pinball business that year. As a Solid State Electronic (SS) machine, Spooky's theme sets it apart: it transports players to a haunted cemetery where ghosts and zombies lurk in every shadow.

Spooky's standout feature is a small mechanical backglass animation: an owl that opens and closes its eyes as the game progresses, adding to the eerie atmosphere. Specific playfield rules and scoring details are not well documented.

Despite being relatively unknown outside of enthusiast circles, Spooky remains an intriguing piece of pinball history. Zaccaria produced a range of games during its 1974-1987 run, and Spooky, arriving at the very end of that period, is likely to appeal to collectors and enthusiasts exploring this lesser-documented era of pinball's development.
