About This Machine

T.N.T. is a four-player solid-state pinball machine released by Allied Leisure Industries of Hialeah, Florida in February 1976. It's a new-release update of the company's 1975 machine 'Rock On,' and Allied would follow it later that year with another variant, 'Boogie'; a two-player version of the same game, 'Dyn-O-Mite,' was released in 1975. The playfield art features a likeness of 1970s TV actor Jimmy Walker delivering his catchphrase, 'Dyn-o-mite!'

Gameplay features two flippers, a single pop bumper, two slingshots, eight standup targets, and four solitary drop targets, with detour gates on both outlanes to add an extra layer of ball control. As a solid-state machine, T.N.T. would have offered more consistent scoring and simpler electronics maintenance than its electromechanical predecessors.

The music theme ties into the game's title and Jimmy Walker imagery, giving it a lighthearted, disco-era personality typical of mid-1970s Allied Leisure releases. Little further documentation exists about the machine's specific design credits or original reception.
