Live Wire

Live Wire, manufactured by Chicago Coin Machine Manufacturing Company on January 13, 1937, is an early single-player electro-mechanical (EM) pinball machine, released as Model 29. It had a confirmed production run of just 196 units, making it a scarce find among collectors today.

Little detailed information survives about Live Wire's specific gameplay, artwork, or theme, which is common for many machines from this early period of pinball manufacturing.

Live Wire's chief significance lies in its place within Chicago Coin's early catalog and its very limited production run, which lends it particular rarity among surviving machines from the late 1930s.
