About This Machine
Despite appearing on some pinball lists, the Chicago Coin Machine Manufacturing Company's Hit Parade from February 1951 is not actually a pinball machine. It is a counter-model jukebox, included here only for clarification purposes.
A Billboard article dated December 1, 1951 (page 122) reported that a Florida distributor had purchased Chicago Coin's remaining output of these jukeboxes, over 500 machines in total.
Because Hit Parade is a jukebox rather than a pinball machine, no gameplay features, flippers, or playfield design apply to it. It is noted in pinball reference lists mainly to prevent confusion with genuine Chicago Coin pinball products of the same period.
