About This Machine

Agents 777, designed by Ed Cebula and manufactured by Game Plan, Incorporated of Illinois in November 1984, is a four-player solid-state electronic pinball machine with a cartoon crime-fighting theme. Running on Game Plan's MPU-2 board with software by Rehman Merchant, it comes from the final stretch of the small Chicago-area company's pinball output before it closed in 1985.

The machine's striking, colorful cartoon-style artwork is the work of Larry M. Blazek, who has said he did everything on this game from concept to the final art on the playfield, plastics, and backglass — and possibly the cabinet art as well. The artist was previously misattributed as Dick White before Blazek set the record straight.

With a confirmed production run of only 400 units, Agents 777 is a genuinely scarce title. As one of the last games from one of the industry's smaller manufacturers, it remains a fascinating and elusive example of mid-1980s pinball for collectors and players alike.
