About This Machine

Big Ben, manufactured by Segasa of Spain in 1975, is an electro-mechanical pinball machine with a World Places - Landmarks theme. It is the same replay game as Williams' 1975 'Big Ben', produced under license for the Spanish market, although the backglass makes no mention of the licensing; an add-a-ball version was also made for export to Italy.

Big Ben features two flippers, two pop bumpers, two slingshots, three drop targets, and a kick-out hole, providing players with a variety of ways to navigate the playfield. The machine also boasts an end-of-ball bonus and five score reels, while its sound package of three chimes and a knocker delivers classic EM audio feedback that enhances the overall experience.

As a licensed European production of an American Williams design, Big Ben is an interesting collectible for enthusiasts of 1970s electro-mechanical pinball and of the Spanish manufacturers who brought American games to European players.
