Beauty Contest

Beauty Contest is a single-player, flipperless one-ball game manufactured by Bally Manufacturing Corporation, with a confirmed production run of 1,750 units. Unusually, it offers one-ball play on a playfield styled like a five-ball game.

As a flipperless one-ball machine, Beauty Contest belongs to a category of games oriented around chance-style play rather than the flipper skill of conventional pinball. The game also had re-screened backglasses produced, one of which was retitled 'Fun Spot'.

While detailed documentation of its playfield rules is scarce, its confirmed production figures and alternate backglass versions make Beauty Contest an interesting artifact for collectors and historians of Bally's electro-mechanical output.
